Yes there's water in that punch bowl I know that's not normal but neither is eating cereal without anything holding it. Mobians aren't quite perfect at human things!

Sky are you saying that mobians have only recently come in contact with humans?

That's a great question! The answer is no, Humans and Mobians first came in contact while Mobius was still alive. Mobians adopting some aspects of human culture came later, and as of when DotX takes place, Mobians can be found mixed in with Humans all across Hetrea.

Mobius City and its suburbs are the capital of Mobian culture, (As it is the former location of the Mobius Kingdom,) and so very few if any humans actually live there. Because of this, none of the children characters of DotX have ever encountered humans face-to-face, and so they're doing their best with what they've heard/been shown. There are no humans there to show them that water doesn't go in a big bowl but punch does. They're both drinks, why wouldn't they both be able to?

Oh, I see. And when you say none of the children you're including Banana and Lime, who come from another continent, right? (At least I think I remember that they are from another continent)

Ah woops, I totally misspoke. Zeda, Banana and Lime have all ABSOLUTELY interacted with humans and probably have some human friends back home. They do come from another continent, yes.
