Miles has taken off his trenchcoat and tied the sleeves around his waist. I realized too late that this isn't super clear after I drew his arm across his lap. You'll see it better on other upcoming pages!
(The second panel is intentionally void of grammar!)

Great question! The answer to that is complicated, but I'll try to keep it brief! Since Dot X started as me and my friends basically LARPing as these characters during elementary school recess, there are certainly connections that could be drawn based on that! Speedy was my main character, so a lot of my younger self can be seen in him. This comic started years later though, and over those years I made sure to separate Speedy from myself. He's not me, nor is he meant to represent me. (Honestly nowadays I'm a lot more like Miles and Gell!) In making Dot X in its current and canon form, this comic, I see a little of myself in each and every character. Even those that I didn't originally create, such as Pudding, I've been careful to care for them as if they were my own while still staying true to their original creators. I'm glad you can relate to these characters- That's what I'm aiming for! ^_^

AH it's so soon! If all goes according to schedule it'll be revealed alongside page 343!!! There are a few hints littered around, so see if you can guess it before I announce it! Here's a hint: It's not a comic, but I'm aiming for it to be as important a project as Dot X! ; )
Dang, nice find!! Though unrelated, I didn't think anyone would actually see that. It has meaning, but it's not involved in the 'Coming Soon' box! The hints I mention involve the box itself! ; )
