In case you don't know, let me weave you the tale of Dot X Adventure. Long ago, years before the comic began, I made a Dot X Game because making games is what I do and I thought the Dot X series would do well with a game to its name.
I finished the game but waited to put it out because I wanted to try to get all my elementary school friends back together to record the dialog for the game, but alas this never fully came to be.
(Although I was never able to get everything recorded, I'd like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who was able to make it to record and to those who were so enthusiastic about the project!)
As I waited for my friends to be in my area and free, I got better at making games, and began the DotX Comic because I wanted to have an official canon for Dot X. (Previously, Dot X was mostly a collection of characters and stories with no real timeline going through them.)
I gave up on the voice acting eventually, and so I let the game collect dust, not sure what to do with it. It's not what I'd do for a Dot X game now that the comic's taken off, but I didn't want it to go to waste! On E3, I asked you all whether I should release it or not, and you all gave me an astoundingly positive response!
And thus, Dot X Adventure is now available from Hetrea.com! Please, go on and try it out! I'd love to hear what you think about it!
